  4. Very good site you have here but I was curious if you knew of any message boards that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really like to be a part of community where I can get opinions from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thank you!

    1. Hi Kimberly – I only train you how to raise support – I don’t fundraise for others. For your information, I will be giving a regional workshop in Nampula, Mozambique January 20-24, 2020. You’d be welcome to attend. You will learn the biblical way to build a team of ministry partners. Send one or two to come and they can teach what they learn to the others when they return. Sound good?

      1. Hi again Kimberly – I will also be coming to give a workshop in Arusha, Tanzania this year! Don’t yet know the dates, but it will be advertised by YWAM Arusha, so keep your eyes open!

    2. Instead of going in person to give a workshop, we’re planning an online workshop via Zoom. The dates are not yet set, but keep your ears open as it will be promoted once we have confirmed dates!

  7. Hi Terry, Thanks for making these resources available! I went to ywamelearning.com and didn’t find a link to this page so I just typed in “relational fundraising ywam” to find the link: relationalfundraising.com
While scanning the first two modules on my ipad there is no menu on the left side (or anywhere that I could find) to easily return to the main page to find the link to the next module. Perhaps this link could be embedded at the bottom of each module? Just a suggestion.
We are working on making this course available to each of our staff here in YWAM Minneapolis. Since we are a bilingual base it is much appreciated that the info is also offered in Spanish. Are all the documents available in Spanish or just your text on the website? This is such a big help to us here. Thank you and Gracias!

    1. Thanks for your suggestions, Belinda. In the online course there is no constant menu, but there is a Navigation button in the upper left corner you can open which will allow you to go back or forward to different parts of the course. It travels as you scroll down through the Module so you should constantly see it. At the bottom of each Module I give instructions so people know how to go on to the next Module.

Most of the Introduction documents are in Spanish and Betty Barnett’s videos have been subtitled in Spanish as well. It’s a work in progress and as the person translating finishes something she sends it on to me and I’ll include it in the Dropbox file. Slowly but surely it should all be in Spanish one day! I’m so glad you can make good use of it and blessings on your staff there in Minneapolis. If anyone there would like to do more translating of later modules, please contact me about it. My long-term plan is to have separate courses in their own language. 🙂

    2. Hi again – I also realize that you need to be logged in to the course in order to see the Navigation button in the upper left. So if you haven’t created a user name and password, you won’t see it.

Well done you! You and Hans were so brave to take on this vision and courageous for seeing it through all the long slog of it. I thank you. I look forward to the day that no YWAMer comes on staff before they have attended at least the 3 day seminar.

    1. Hi Grace! Thanks for the encouragement. My hope is that YWAM bases will refer their staff/potential staff to the online course. They can also have a facilitator who would lead a small group of staff through the course, or coach individuals as they go through it. There are many ways it can be used, with the goal of equipping staff to be fully funded world changers!
